It was one of my good friends birthday and I decided we should g out to dinner. I did not plan to go to this restaurant and definitely could of been dressed better. If you have never been to Japanese Steakhouse this is something that you must try at least once! We went to Saito's Japanese Steakhouse! It was perfect. They cook the food in front of you and the food is perfect! I love it. Here is a glimpse of our night!

I have moments where I wake up and send my friends random Words of Encouragement. I know that I enjoy getting those random text or calls that say "you are great and keep it up". So when I wake up and feel the need to send one I do. And after thinking about it, sometimes those words directed to one person can be helpful to others. So here is your copy of one of my morning Words of Encouragement. Good morning and God Bless.  Speak goodness and joy into your life and it shall happen. God blesses everyone but if we are blinded by worry and other issues we will not see it. Make sure when you can you KISS (keep it simple stupid), my coworker taught me that and it makes me smile while relieving a lot of worry. When I first thought to write about this topic it was sparked by one incident and later fueled by others comments. Which means this topic has been on my mind for quite a while, eating away at the fringes of my better half to let people know how I feel. Now before I continue let me say this, " I AM NOT A MEMBER OF A GREEK LETTERED ORGANIZATION. I SIMPLY HATE SEEING PEOPLE USE IGNORANCE & RELIGION AS JUSTIFICATION TO BASH OTHERS." What can I say, it's the anthropologist in me.

When planning the perfect Girls Night, sometimes there is no planning involved at all. The only thing that we knew that night was, we were going to a club in Las Olas, Fl that was supposed to be free. Come to find out you had to wear all black and it was only free then until 1230am for Ladies.

This new combination that I am using has my skin on CLOUD 9.  Before I get to the new combination let me touch on the old one. I used to always use shower gels and shower gloves to wash myself.

Some would say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and if that is the case then who is to say that any definition is wrong? A lot of times when people think of beauty and magazines they think of models and glamour.

I have always known what I wanted my engagement ring to look like. And I have also known what colors I would like for my wedding, in addition to the type of gown I would like to wear. By chance I have stumbled across this website that has created the perfect ring! I would like a ring that has a heart shaped cut, and stones in the band that match my birth stone and the other persons. To me this demonstrates our unity. I would also like the stone that is heart shaped to be the color of our anniversary, unless it clashes too much and my future fiance thinks of a better layout. This website made that happen! I wish I was getting engaged and he was using this site because I created the perfect ring!

Yes you read the title correctly. I am transitioning.For those who do now know what that means, let me explain. Over the years I have always put relaxers in my hair ( a chemical process to straighten my hair) but I am not going to lie. I cannot stand doing it. If you don't do it on time your hair looks a mess, if you get the wrong stylist you may end up with a burnt scalp or bald patches. Either way I am over the whole thing. Just when everyone was getting to a point where they were enjoying the Pink Friday artist, Nicki Minaj or at least tolerating her without complaint she did something that no one saw coming. We are always dreaming of reaching a new high, a  new goal and being the best at everything we set before ourselves. The truth of the matter is that we will not always succeed and quite frankly, we may never make it to our original dream. Along the way we sometimes overcome obstacles, while there are other times that those obstacles become dead ends that open our eyes to a painful truth or an unknown blessing, depending on how you evaluate a situation.

Once again I have to shout out these ladies. It's hard to believe that in the period of about 6 months I have met some of the hottest up and coming artist in the county, let alone the next best female rappers to hit the stage. In case you have not been paying attention, the the Ladies of Broward County are the hottest ladies in the game. I personally believe that they are better than the ones that are already mainstream. Because they are up and coming these ladies have a lot to prove but without fail they have done it already. They have talent, style and most of all are down to earth women. With that being said I have had the pleasure of personally meeting Ms. NeNe at her Birthday Bash and Marcy Marlone right before one of her performances.
