Whit in the World

Music has hit a whole new level! Not only is there a song that describes the perfect fling situation but this time its called Quickie. Artist Miguel has hit the wave lengths and made his new song a hit, as well as a lot of people's theme song.

Since I have moved home from Gainesville (if you do not know, that is the Gator Nation) I have received home cooked meal. And this means that I have been getting home cooked Caribbean dishes on a regular basis. For those of you who do not know. My grandma is Jamaican and my mom is British as in born in London,UK. With that being said I am show casing one of the dishes that I have had since I have been home, Curry Chicken!

  Headline Holla:Beyonce Flash Mob, Ron Artest Marital Split, Ashanti Returns…Maybe I am a former Target employee and would have loved to be in this store when this took place. I will always love seeing things that  bring attention to the celebrity in a whole new light. I am speechless but this video says a lot in itself. Here is another music video made for her song. From day one I have always wanted and loved certain things. I love music, poetry and cars! I can't get enough of either of those things. This is dedicated to cars! These are the cars that have caught my eye! This lovely car honestly caught my attention due to those hamster commercials. Frankly the brand of car is not the best but for it last for a while it would be worth it. I have seen one in person and it is quite spacious on the inside. The price is definitely not in my personal range or worth it, considering there are other cars of better quality for cheaper.

After being told about this site, Clutch , I made it a point o explore the website briefly.  While scrolling to the bottom I stumbled across this story and was shocked since I had heard nothing about this documentary. I think that this is going to be a great story to get out there, similar to Chris Rocks 'Good Hair' . To be honest, it took me forever to see 'Good Hair' but when I did.... I LOVED IT! I know this will be just as good and for me I think documentaries that touch home are better. They usually uncover the issues that are in our community that we keep behind close doors or that we know about but do not talk about on a regular basis. Worthy Magazine  is growing more and more every day. I am excited for my UOM, JCSamuels . These are picture of the start of the computer that is being used to get this up and going. I mean it all started way before this with our other computers and it will only get better from here on out. I was on  Facebook  and saw a post that caught my eye. When I clicked on the link I instantly fell in love!  The post that caught my attention is entitled  THE 5 ESSENTIALS OF RELAXED AND NATURAL HAIR CARE . The website does not just focus on one aspect of the life of an African-American woman  but instead manages to cover all the significant parts as well as some parts that are leisure. A lot of times people search for beauty in art but for some reason I have always found beauty in more abstract things that people would classify as random. This is one of those moments. I have found beauty once again in language! Thanks to this lovely gentleman,Khama, and his sweet post on my facebook the other day.

I am currently in the process of working with my UOM ( J.C. Samuels ) to build a successful magazine. The magazine is called Worthy Magazine and so far, so good.

When I fall in love I want it to be like a fairy tale... the perfect beginning to a tragic black woman's novel. To want something to be like a fairy tale or close is a complete dream. Life isn't perfect, actually it is far from it. Throwing curve balls, upper cuts and long division at you before you even exit the womb. As horrible as it sound, its true. You don't decide when, where,who or how you are born; you just are.

Every time you look through your closest you can find a lot of items that could be tossed out or donated to  good will. Instead of getting rid of those items, why not transfor those clothes into something new. It can be simple or even more intricate. Also you can buy items that you can already vision the transformation. I have done this already and here is an example of what I have done along with some of my friends transformations.
